Back to Brooklyn

Friday, July 4, 2025

This October I am heading back to Brooklyn for a unique gathering of kind internet professionals. Designers, developers, and other creative people, coming together to reflect, connect, and think about where the web (and we) are headed.

This October I am heading back to Brooklyn for a unique gathering of kind internet professionals. Designers, developers, and other creative people, coming together to reflect, connect, and think about where the web (and we) are headed.

It’s not your typical conference. No hype, no giant expo halls, just impactful talks, inspiring people, and genuine conversations.

And while it’s an investment, I see it as essential for my own growth. A valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect with peers I admire, and return with fresh energy and perspective.

My last trip to Brooklyn gave me this incredible sunrise view, a moment that always makes me want to return. So, here we go again!

Plus, I’m absolutely using this as an excuse for some serious pizza research. For science, of course! 🍕

If you’ll be in Brooklyn too, or have any must-try pizza spots, let me know

Here are the pizzerias I still want to try:

  • Una Pizza Napoletana (LES)

  • Lucali (or Baby Luc) (Carroll Gardens)

  • Luigi’s Pizza (South Slope)

  • L’industrie (Williamsburg)

  • Di Fara Pizza (Midwood)

  • Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop (Greenpoint)

  • Salsa (Greenpoint)

  • Best Pizza (Williamsburg)

And I’ll probably try a smash burger at Hamburger America too, if time allows. And try all the delicious bagels, ramen, tacos, and diner spots too…
