Daydream
Terms of Service
By downloading or using Daydream ("the app"), you agree to the following terms.
1. The app
Daydream is a personal journaling and map-based memory app. It is provided "as is," for personal, non-commercial use, to help you save and revisit your own experiences.
2. Your content
Everything you enter into Daydream — text, photos, locations, and timestamps — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your content and have no access to it, since it's stored locally on your device.
3. Data loss
Because Daydream has no account system and no server, you are responsible for your own backups. If you don't enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings, and your device is lost, damaged, or reset, your entries cannot be recovered by us — we simply don't have a copy. We encourage you to enable iCloud backup for your device.
4. No warranty
Daydream is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best to keep the app reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be free of bugs or interruptions.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Daydream — including loss of data, photos, or entries.
6. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update Daydream and these terms over time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
