Bol is the leading ecommerce platform in The Netherlands, serving over 13 million customers and offering over 40 million items. As part of the Discover product team I help our customers understand their needs and find what they are looking for.

My journey at bol began with diving into the world of Headless CMS, powered by Contentstack. This platform unlocked a world of efficient content management, allowing my team to seamlessly create and adapt experiences across our websites and apps.

With this newfound flexibility, we embarked on shaping various aspects of the bol ecosystem, designing campaigns, landing pages, and reusable components that resonated with our customers.

Currently, I’m proud to be part of the Optimal Checkout Experience team. Our mission is to guide customers effortlessly through their journey, from the excitement of adding items to their basket to the satisfying confirmation page. We meticulously craft each step, ensuring clarity and ease of use to boost conversions and create a truly enjoyable shopping experience.

Through these diverse projects, I’ve not only honed my expertise in user experience and visual design but also gained a deep understanding of how design impacts customer behaviour. Witnessing the direct influence of my work on conversion rates fuels my passion to continuously improve and optimise the customer experience.
